Returns and Cancellations
How returns work here
Every NLK shirt is made to order and part of a strictly limited run. The run size is set by the species, never by demand, and it never changes. Once a number is claimed and the shirt is made, it's one of a fixed few in the world.
Because of that, returns work slightly differently. Please check our size guide carefully before you order. But you have full cancellation rights, and they're set out below.
Cancel before we print
You can cancel your order at any time before the drop closes and the run goes to our printer. Full refund, and the shirt is never made. Use our online withdrawal function (see below) or email us.
Change of mind after delivery
You have the right to withdraw from your order within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason. This is your legal right in the UK and the EU, and we honour it in full.
To withdraw, use our online withdrawal function (see below) or email us at hello@nolongerknown.com within 14 days of delivery. You then have 14 days to send the item back.
The shirt must come back unworn, unwashed, and in its original condition. You cover the cost of return postage. We'll refund the product price and the standard outbound delivery cost within 14 days of receiving the item back, or from when you provide proof you've sent it, whichever is sooner.
What happens to a returned number
The run size never changes, so a returned shirt goes back into the run for someone else to claim. The number belongs to the species, not to a single owner.
Faulty or damaged items
If your item arrives faulty or damaged, we'll make it right. Contact us within 14 days of delivery at hello@nolongerknown.com with your order number, a photo of the fault, and a brief description. We'll replace it or issue a full refund, your choice, and we cover return postage on faults.
Wrong item received
If we've sent you the wrong item, contact us within 14 days and we'll arrange a free return and send the correct item as quickly as possible.
International orders
These cancellation and return rights apply to all orders. International customers are responsible for any local customs duties or import taxes, which are not included in our prices and are set by your country's customs authority. Where you withdraw from an order, any such charges are not refundable by us.
Your legal rights
This policy does not affect your statutory rights. Under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, if an item is faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund. Your right to withdraw within 14 days is provided under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (UK) and the Consumer Rights Directive (EU).
