Sixty centimetres of shell. Eighteen kilos. In the breeding season the males turn black and crimson with yellow eyes. It lives where the Ganges runs out into the sea, and almost nobody outside Bangladesh has heard of it.

There are 134 Northern River Terrapins living wild in the Sundarbans. So we made just 134 shirts. Each one numbered. When they're gone, they're gone, and we never reprint a drop.

We are trialling printing the full run up front this time rather than making them to order, so the wait is shorter than our first two drops. Orders ship from early October. We'll often beat it.

Who's making this
An ecologist and a designer
Rob is an ecologist and works in conservation and nature finance. Matt works in design. They started No Longer Known because they both felt that stopping species going extinct needs something completely different.

An animal that evolved over millions of years deserves more than a prompt. That's why we only work with artists, because, well, fuck AI "art". Every artist comes from the place the species lives, and brings their own style to it. No two designs will ever look the same.
